The Slytherins almost always supported Ravenclaw in their match against Gryffindor. They would don blue hats and carry blue and bronze painted signs, rallying support for people they would hardly recognize in the hallways. The girls sat in the Slytherin common room, passing blue and bronze makeup back and forth, making it a forced point that they would not support Gryffindor, but would cheer Ravenclaw all the way to their eyelids.

Narcissa Black refused to change her daily makeup routine, but donned a blue beret instead. Her boyfriend, Lucius, was one of five seventh year boys to sport “Gryffindor Sucks” buttons the entire week previous to the match, taking it off only before Transfiguration class to avoid snide remarks on ‘bad sportsmanship’ from McGonagall. The Slytherin Quidditch team realized that their chances of winning against Ravenclaw for the cup would be much better than playing against Gryffindor. Attack team spirit now, beat in Quidditch later, right? Also, Gryffindors were blood-traitors and weirdoes.

It was January, and was supposed to be the Slytherin versus Ravenclaw match, but the schedule had been thrown completely out of wack for some reason. Lucius was quite glad they would not be playing in this fierce cold, anyway. Him and Narcissa, along with his friends and their girlfriends all secured themselves great seats in the stands and draped thick blue blankets over themselves to keep warm. Narcissa also brought a jar of blue flames to keep between them for extra heat, something Lucius was very happy for because the temperature seemed to be dropping steadily.

As the teams stepped out onto the pitch, the usually green section of the stands stood with a river of blue banners that would remain up proudly (well, mockingly to Gryffindor at least) through the end of the match, where Ravenclaw took the Snitch and the win.
